The software version "Komfort" is available from August 2005 and is
especially suitable for the application on analogous model railway
layouts and by extended requirement for the remote control of
various functions. The substantial difference against the standard
version is the possibility of a remote control of single light-spots
or switch-groups by means of push buttons, switches or other contacts
or by a network connection.
 For example is it possible
to switch traffic lights by push button or by travelling motor cars.
Illumination can be switched-on or -off by simple depressing a
button or trains are switching a railway crossing on their own. Also
the start of day times
(dawn and dusk or day and night) can be adjusted. Note: digital
model railways controlled by Railware 5 contain the above mentioned
possibilities without this extension. Further information here Various other programs e.g. own
developed software, can control all day times, light spots or switch
groups with a few TCP/IP commands via a network.
Remote control by push button
For this circuit is a feedback module RM-DEC-88
required. Each feedback module contains16 inputs for the possible
connection of push buttons or switches. For the transmittance of the
switch informations to the PC is a HSI-88 module required. The
HSI-88 requires a vacant serial interface port at the PC.

Remote control via network
Apart from a network connection there are no further
requirements necessary. As a software developer you will require
merely some knowledge about the basic programming of
TCP-connections. A table of possible commands can be found within
the manual.
